We love healthy eating at Wonderama so we were extra excited when MasterChef Junior Quani Fields stopped by the studio to cook for us. You’re gonna love his take on pasta and chicken. Quani’s Zucchini Squash Pasta with Basalmic Chicken
Safety First: Always ask a parent or adult for help when preparing food and cooking.
Here are the ingredients you will need:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion (needs 8 oz of chopped onions)
4 boneless skinless chicken breast
salt & pepper
4 tsp garlic
4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
16 oz honey
3-4 sundried tomatoes
3-4 yellow squash
Heat olive oil in a skillet
Add onion, chicken, salt, and pepper
Cook until chicken is golden brown. Remove from skillet.
Sauté garlic in the same pan and add balsamic vinegar
Stir in honey, peaches, and tomatoes
Add chicken back to the skillet, cover, and simmer
Use a spiralizer to make noodles from zucchini and squash
Toss zucchini and squash noodles into skillet and coat with sauce
